Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort & Amusement Park
Ober Gatlinburg offers 8 ski trails serviced by two quad and one-double chairlift which keeps you out of lift lines and on the slopes. When temperatures drop, the snowmaking equipment blankets 100% of the slopes and there is a indoor skating rink! For summer season fun Ober offers mini-golfing, mazes, arcade, and more.

Aquarium of Smokies

Shopping is a popular activity when visiting Gatlinburg and your Mountain Shadows Resort cabin is the perfect stepping out point for visiting some of the most unusual and unique stores. Downtown visit modern galleries, quaint shops and boutiques either along the Parkway, down a side street or in one of downtown’s distinctive shopping malls.
Arts and Crafts
Your cabin in the Resort is right in the middle of the famous Smoky Mountain Arts and Crafts Community. It is comprised of a 9-mile loop featuring artists and craftsmen in galleries and shops where you can find items made right there on site. See these artisans at work and enjoy a bit of casual shopping.
Though you may be preparing some meals in your cabin, most guests step out for a meal or two during their visit. There are over 100 places to enjoy a great meal in Gatlinburg including restaurants has places for down home, southern-style, fine dining, stick-to-your ribs fare, ethnic cuisine, and everything in between.
